The image is an engraving showing the upper body of a man facing forward but slightly turned to one side. He has a serious expression with deep-set eyes, a prominent nose, and a slightly furrowed brow. His head is partially bald with hair around the sides and back. The man is dressed in an elaborate garment with a high collar and fine detailing on the sleeves and front. The background consists of an octagonal frame with inscriptions on each side, creating a sense of formality around the portrait.
