This is a drawing of two figures interacting on a stairway. The image shows a person with a broom or mop standing at the bottom of a staircase, addressing another person who is ascending the stairs. The person on the stairs is dressed in a formal coat and top hat, gripping the handrail, and appears to be frowning or looking disgruntled. The person at the bottom appears to be wearing a headscarf and apron, and might be in a pose of speaking or calling out. The drawing is in black and white, with detailed shading to suggest volume and texture, capturing the moment between the two characters.
