This is a drawing depicting a figure labeled "FRANCE" being prodded with a rifle by a soldier wearing a spiked helmet. The figure is approaching a ballot box labeled "URNE ELECTORALE." The posture of "France" suggests resignation or despair. The soldier appears aggressive and intimidating. The drawing style is satirical and exaggerated, indicative of a skilled caricature artist.
