This is a drawing of a robed figure writing in a book while an ethereal figure appears in the clouds above. The drawing depicts a seated figure with large feathered wings, dressed in flowing robes, holding a quill to a book or scroll resting on a rock. The scene is set amidst a dramatic landscape, with a mountainous background and a body of water behind the figure. To the left, the landscape features trees and shrubs, while to the right of the figure, there appears to be a mythical creature with wings. In the sky above, a smaller figure surrounded by radiant light is visible. The use of line work and shading is intricate.
