Artist, Spanish, 1881 - 1973

The image is a line drawing of a seated woman portrayed from approximately the waist up. She is positioned sitting in a chair, slightly angled toward the viewer while looking directly ahead. Her facial features are delicately sketched, with defined eyes and a subtle expression. She has short, wavy hair that is neatly styled close to her head. The woman wears a loose garment with broad sleeves, which appears to be a dress or top, and she is adorned with a long, simple necklace that ends in a pendant. Her hands are resting in her lap, one on top of the other, with a soft, furry drape or stole positioned to her left. The background is plain, with nothing to distract from the subject herself.
