The image shows a group of people gathered by a body of water. The individuals are dressed in 19th-century attire, with one person holding a red parasol. Sailboats can be seen in the distance on the water. The scene has loose and fluid brushstrokes, predominantly in soft shades of blue and gray. The sky is filled with clouds depicted with horizontal strokes.
