This black-and-white photograph shows a view of sand dunes from above. The horizon is visible at the very top of the photograph, with distant gray and black mountains in the background. The sand dune closest to us has a distinct ridge down the middle, and the left half in shadow, while the right half is light gray. At the bottom of the photograph, there are thin horizontal lines in the sand, which slopes slightly downward towards us.
