The image depicts a black and white scene by the edge of a still body of water. A large, fallen tree is partially submerged in the water. Dark trees form a background against the sky, which is reflected in the water. The water's surface reflects clouds and tall grasses growing from the nearby bank towards the fallen tree. Linear tree branches create a silhouette against the reflections, adding depth and texture to the scene.
