Two figures are depicted in a dramatic scene. The male figure is kneeling with one leg bent and the other extended behind him, leaning backward with one arm propping him up. He has a beard, mustache, medium-length unkempt hair, and is dressed in a dark tunic. The female figure is standing with her body slightly leaning backward, raising her head and arm upwards as if in mid-movement. She has long flowing hair and is lightly draped in swirling fabric. The background is a textured, shadowy environment suggesting a rocky landscape under a moody sky.
