The image is a landscape sketch with abstract use of line work. The horizon is suggested through the arrangement of lines and abstract forms that stretch horizontally. There is a small human figure on the right holding a staff. The brushstrokes or line work are quick and freeform, with rough, expressive linear strokes creating textures and flowing forms resembling trees or vegetation. The color palette is largely black ink on an off-white background. Lines overlap and intertwine across the surface.
