In this print, two individuals are depicted with loose, minimal lines. Closest to us, on the right, is a person sitting on a low couch, their face visible in profile. Their appearance is rough, with a beard and mustache, disheveled hair, and a long-sleeved shirt and pants suggested with minimal lines. They are bent over, with their hands stretched towards the ground between their bent knees, holding a large rectangular object upright. Behind them and on the left is a partially visible person with softer features, such as a small nose and thin, slightly smiling mouth, their eyes looking down at the object the first person holds. This person has long hair that curls around their head, perhaps up in a loose bun. They appear to be nude. One of their arms rests on the shoulder of the other person, and they hold a thin object between their fingers, perhaps a cigarette. On the left, a few lines suggest piles of fabric or clothing, and there is a vertical object that may be a piece of furniture. Multiple thin rectangles appear to sit in this object, like tall books or canvases. The rest of the background is blank, off-white paper.
