The sketch shows a person sitting cross-legged and playing a lute. The person has short hair with bold sections, and is wearing a shirt with sleeves and pants. Their arms are positioned to play the instrument with one hand on the neck and the other on the body. The background is plain, and the sketch is on aged paper with minor wear and tear along the edges.
