The painting depicts a woman standing and holding a child. The woman has a smooth complexion and dark hair. She wears a brown top and a long skirt tied with a red ribbon. The child, dressed in light blue, leans towards the woman. They are surrounded by pastel colors blending into warm earth tones in the background, which features abstract swirls of yellow, brown, and pink.
