Artist, French, 1852 - 1931

The image shows two figures standing under an arch or shadowy area on the right side. The person on the left is slightly hunched, using a walking stick, and wears a large brimmed hat. The person on the right stands closer, facing the first person. Both individuals wear long, flowing garments, with one possibly wearing a lighter-colored outfit. The setting appears to be outdoor, with faint lines suggesting distant structures on the left side of the image.
