The image features a sketch of a dancer from the knees up, at the center-right of the drawing. The dancer is shown with her back to the viewer, with her right hand on her hip and her left arm bent upwards, touching the back of her head. She has a bun hairstyle and a slightly turned profile. She wears a tutu with a fitted top and short, wide skirt. The background shows faint outlines of other figures, possibly an audience. The sketch uses lines and shading for depth against a simple backdrop.
