Artist, French, 1852 - 1931

The image depicts a line drawing of two women in an interior setting. The younger woman, in a back view, is entering through a partially open door, revealing her bare back and side. Her head is turned looking back. The older woman, facing the younger one, is fully dressed and holding a garment or cloth. In the bottom left, there is a bowl, a bar of soap, and a cloth on the floor. The interior appears to be simply sketched, with visible floorboards.
