The image depicts a side view of two individuals, an adult and a child, drawn in black and blue lines against a cream background. The adult is seen in a standing and slightly hunched posture, facing right, with both hands placed near their waist. They have an ambiguous dark outline where facial features reside, and their hair appears covered mostly by a hood or shawl draped over their head and shoulders down to their feet. The child stands close to the adult, gazing up at them, with a hand possibly clinging to the adult's garment. The child’s head is lifted, and the dark hair is flowing down the back. The background is minimally detailed, with faint sketches suggesting other figures or objects scattered towards the right side of the image.
