This is a painting of a religious gathering. The image shows a congregation of figures looking upwards towards a central chalice and a shining circle. Luminous rays radiate outward from the chalice. To the right of the chalice, a faint image of a cloaked figure stands. Surrounding the scene, text indicates the event is the "25ème Congrès Eucharistique International" held in Lourdes in 1914 from July 22nd to 26th. The style is reminiscent of early 20th-century poster art with graphic lines and a limited color palette focusing on black and blue hues.
