Artist, German, 1880 - 1938

This print depicts bold, sweeping lines and geometric shapes resembling a seated bull or cow. The lines of the print are in black against off-white paper, and some are thick and bold while others are thin. The bull’s head is slightly turned to the right, and its front legs are curled near the bottom-left corner. We can see the bull’s wide nose, its small eyes, its ears, and its large, curved horns. Its body on the right is less defined, and there is an indistinguishable shape on the right, near the bull’s head.
