This is a painting of three birds perched on branches. The image includes a larger bird with dark brown feathers and a yellow chest on a branch, a second bird with a bright yellow head and black body on the ground, and a smaller speckled bird with light brown tones reaching out to catch an insect. There is sparse vegetation with a small sprig of grass next to the branch, in the style of John James Audubon.
