The image depicts two figures standing on either side of a dark archway. On the left, a nude figure with long hair is entwined with a serpent. Beside them is a reptilian creature. On the right, a figure draped in robes and crowned with a circlet of spikes holds a spear. The background shows a stone structure with dark shadows. Billowing clouds of smoke or mist frame the entire composition.
