The image shows a drawing of two men depicted from the shoulders up. The man on the left is shown in a three-quarter view with closed or obscured eyes, short slicked-back hair, and a mustache. He wears formal attire, including an overcoat and necktie. The man on the right faces forward with a similar hairstyle and mustache, also dressed formally. The background features anatomical elements with a human skull outlined behind the left figure and another skeletal form and an animal skull with long horns on the right. The artwork is done in loose, sketchy monochromatic pen strokes. It is dated 1916, with a visible signature below.
