The sculpture depicts a figure with a crown of thorns. The figure is in a seated pose, leaning to one side with a hand on its cheek. It is adorned with a cloak with intricate designs around the collar and wears white clothing that covers the legs fully. The colors are muted, with shades of brown and ivory. The material appears to be carved wood, seen from the texture on the hands and feet. Inside a decorated box with floral patterns, the sculpture is framed by an ornately carved border.
