This is a drawing of a street scene. In the center, a cart overloaded with large sacks and a rotund figure is being pulled by several men through a narrow cobblestone street. The figure atop the cart is holding a flag and a document labeled "Mémorial." Surrounding the cart, the street is lined with various onlookers, many in period clothing with top hats, eagerly watching the commotion. Some people observe from the windows of the tall buildings flanking the street. The shop signs and architectural details suggest a historical setting. The drawing is rich with intricate linework and shading, providing depth and energy to the scene. Text in French is displayed at the bottom of the image.
