The image shows a full view of a woman's body lying down in a reclining position. She is resting on her side, with her head turned slightly to the left and arm bent, supporting her head. Her facial features are simply rendered with closed eyes, a serene expression, and slightly curved lips. Her hair is short and styled close to the head. She appears to be resting on a patterned surface with circular and floral motifs. In the background, the image features a textured surface with linear etching marks. The etching includes the signature "Milton Avery" and the date "1941" at the bottom right corner.
