This is a photograph of a textured copper plate. The image shows a rectangular copper plate with various etched lines and marks covering its surface. The plate appears to have been used for intaglio printmaking, evident from the incised grooves and scraping patterns. The arrangement of these etchings suggests lines intersecting and overlapping randomly across the plate. The warm, reddish tone of the copper provides a backdrop, highlighting the aged nature of the plate.
