The image depicts three figures in white outfits with pointed hats shooting at birds over a body of water. The horizon is at the top of the image, with land extending to the left where a small structure is visible. The scene shows careful brushstrokes detailing the water and land textures. Earthy sepia tones dominate the color palette. Birds can be seen in the water, with two taking flight as a dog approaches from the shore. A fir tree on the far right frames the scene's action.
