The second sketch shows the figure seated with draped clothing. Above this, a seated figure is shown with a hand resting on the chin. In the bottom right, there is a close-up of crossed arms over a draped lap. The background is a textured paper, creating contrast with the charcoal and white chalk sketches of the figure.
