This is an etching that depicts a woman kneeling on a bed with most of her body shown, viewed from the side. She is positioned with her shoulder facing us, her torso angled towards the bottom right corner and her head turned to the right, her face obscured. She is looking out of a large window, white curtains blowing towards her. She has pale skin, and her long, dark hair cascades over her shoulders and hides the upper part of her torso. The woman appears to be unclothed. The blankets of the bed have been pushed back, with two pillows near the bottom left corner. The room is lightly furnished, with a small table behind the pillows and a pitcher-like object on it. The wall behind the woman is black, while the space visible beyond the window is white.
