The image depicts a landscape with an elevated perspective. The horizon is about a third from the top of the composition, where land and sky meet. To the right, there are hills sketched with fine lines, showing a terraced arrangement of fields. Closest to us are farmland, vegetation rows, and clusters of trees. In the distance, across a river, a faint structure, possibly a church spire, stands out on the horizon. The sky has sparse, soft clouds, and the monochromatic palette uses varying line densities for depth and lighting. The scene exudes tranquility, emphasizing the natural beauty of the rural landscape.
