The man has distinct facial features with a prominent nose, a well-groomed beard, and mustache. His hair is coiffed neatly, appearing to be receding at the temples. He is dressed in an ornate jacket with detailed patterns and decorative buttons, and is wearing an elaborate lace ruff around his neck. The man is framed by an oval border that is embellished with scrollwork, which bears text along the curves. The background beyond the oval frame is plain.
