Artist, Russian, 1887 - 1985

This is a drawing of a goat, a person, and a distant silhouette of a rooster on slanted rooftops. The piece is composed in various shades of black and white. The goat dominates the upper left portion of the drawing with its detailed texture and large eye. The distant rooftop leads the eye up to a small figure, a rooster silhouetted against the night sky. The character beneath the goat has a contemplative expression. Multiple shadowy, geometric forms suggest buildings.
