The image displays an aerial view of closely packed buildings in an old European town. Taller, slender buildings with diverse roofs dominate the scene. The etching technique depicts intricate details of the roofs and facades. The horizon is suggested just above the buildings against a mostly empty sky. The monochrome etching shows fine lines to showcase details and shadows. Additional buildings in the distance enhance the depth of the scene. The color scheme is predominantly gray due to the etching.
