The image shows an ancient stone temple with a colonnade, depicted in an etching style. The temple is adorned with overgrown plants and there are additional structures in the distance. A tree leans into the scene on the left, with a person tending to sheep. Large stone blocks and parts of columns are scattered on the ground, with two figures resting against them. The color palette is limited to shades of grey and sepia.
