Associated Names
This is a painting of a religious scene. A person in a brown robe is kneeling and looking upwards toward a golden chalice above a rock. Surrounding the kneeling figure, there are three other figures sitting in a semi-circle, each with yellow halos. The style is reminiscent of a medieval woodcut, with vivid colors, a green ground, and a tree in the background. The landscape is simple and stylized, with a blue sky and wooden fence in the distance. The figures and objects are stylized in a way typical of religious art from this period.
