The image is a landscape sketch viewed from a slightly elevated position. The horizon is low across the middle of the composition, blending with the sky. Two tall trees with light foliage are on either side. There are bushes and smaller trees at the base of the larger trees, with a figure in a hat leaning towards the right side. The drawing is monochromatic, with shades of brown and tan.
