The image depicts a man seated on the ground next to a tree. He is leaning against the tree with his legs stretched out and crossed at the ankles. His head is tilted back against the trunk of the tree, and his gaze is directed upwards. The man is wearing loose-fitting clothing, a hat is placed beside him on the ground, and his feet are bare. The surroundings include dense grass and shrubbery, and a barren tree leaning diagonally across the left side of the image. The sky in the background is textured and stark. No jewelry or additional objects are visible in the figure's possession.
