The sculpture depicts two figures seated on a rock-like base. One figure appears to be a woman and the other a small child. The woman is seated with her head turned towards the child who is standing beside her. The sculpture is monochrome, possibly made of stone or a similar light-colored material. It is set outdoors on a flat plinth, surrounded by barren trees, ivy, and a building with a large window in the background.
