The image shows a street view of a row of small houses or cabins. One house with a gabled roof and visible stairs leading up to the door is in the foreground on the left side. Beyond it, a series of similar structures forms a diagonal line stretching towards the right side of the image. The horizon line is subtly indicated by the low slung roofs of the houses and the distant utility poles and wires. The scene is captured in black and white, with a grayscale palette that reflects an overcast atmosphere. The focus is on the geometric forms and textures of the buildings.
