The sculpture portrays Abraham Lincoln seated in a chair made of bronze, with a stone base inscribed with the name "Lincoln" and a dedication. Lincoln is in a thoughtful pose, wearing a suit with one arm resting on the chair's armrest. Nearby, children are interacting with the sculpture, sitting on his lap, shoulder, and holding onto it. The scene takes place in a public area, possibly outside a building, as shown by the architectural backdrop.
