The image is a black and white photograph of a wide-open landscape. The horizon is slightly above the center line, marked by distant hills and a cluster of trees. Several lone trees are scattered on the hill. The forefront shows a blurred expanse of grassland with a horse standing or moving across it. The grayscale palette enhances the serene quality of the scene. The image conveys a vast and open sense of space.
