The image displays a hillside covered with dark, jagged rocks in the foreground. In the distance, there is a town with spire and dome structures visible above the buildings near the upper third of the composition. The overall tone is monochrome, with the rocky foreground in deep blacks and grays transitioning to lighter grays in the distance, creating a misty effect that partially obscures the town and hills in the background.
