This is a painting of two monks and a goat-like creature in a forest. One monk is reading a book with a halo around his head, while the other is drawing water from a well. In the background, the goat-like creature imitates the monk drawing water. The setting is a forest with large trees and vegetation. The artwork features detailed linear outlines and flat colors, reminiscent of medieval manuscript illuminations or panel paintings. It is in the style of an anonymous medieval artist known for woodcut illustrations and detailed scenes with symbolic elements.
