This is a photograph of film negatives. The image shows three strips of film negatives laid out horizontally on a flat surface. Each strip contains a series of rectangular frames. The negatives have numbers printed along the edges, indicating the sequence of frames. The contrast between the clear film and the solid black borders is accentuated by the monochrome nature of the negative film itself, and the film perforations are also visible along the edges.
