There is a snowy road extending into the distance with two people seated on a horse-drawn sled moving away from the viewer. The horizon is obscured by mist; trees with bare branches covered in frost line the road. Telephone poles and power lines run alongside the road towards a vanishing point. The image has a monochrome palette with shades of gray and white, depicting a serene winter scene. The snow on the road has a smooth texture without visible brushstrokes.
