This black-and-white photograph shows a young girl lying on a bed. She is lying with her head on a pillow on the right, her feet at the other end of the bed on the left. Her eyes are closed, and she has pale skin and curly hair. She is wearing a light-colored garment, and her hands are crossed on her chest. There seem to be some white flowers near her hands. The room is dimly lit with dark draped fabric behind her on the other side of the bed. In the background, there is patterned wallpaper and a framed picture hanging on the wall on the far right. Light is coming in through a partially obscured window.
