This grayscale photograph displays the upper portion of a man seated at a small table or desk. He has his head resting against his left hand, with his elbow on the table, and his right arm lies on the table in front of him. The man has a broad forehead, large eyes, a slightly lined face, and thin lips in a neutral expression. He is looking at us with a direct gaze and one eyebrow slightly raised. His dark hair is all combed over to one side, with a slight swirl in the front strands. The man wears a trench coat over a dark sweater, with a white collared shirt visible at his neck. He appears to have a simple metallic band on his right ring finger. At the bottom of the photograph, resting near him on the table, is a partially visible object that may be the rim of a metallic cup. The background is plain and light gray.
