The image shows a waist-up view of a woman walking confidently. She has one hand in her pocket and the other hand is holding a round, rope-like object. Her face is in profile with short, dark hair styled away from her face. She is wearing a patterned outfit covered by a belted, buttoned jacket. The setting is on a city street with other people visible, dressed in mid-20th century attire, including a woman in a fur coat and a man in a suit in the background. Several flags hang on poles beside the figures. The upper part of a large building is visible, with part of an old-fashioned clock showing the time slightly past ten o’clock. The image is in black and white with deep shadows and bright highlights.
