This is a painting of a theatrical program poster. The image features a colorful and animated poster for a theatrical performance at "Le Théâtre Libre," featuring plays titled "Le Grappin" and "L'Affranchie." The design includes illustrations of two figures dressed in bright yellow outfits standing on the left side of the image, along with a stout character on the right wearing red shorts. Both are posed as if they are part of the theatrical narrative. The play titles and the names of various actors and roles are printed in a stylized font between the two groups of figures. In the lower right corner, two figures wearing red and black hats appear to be observing the event.
