The image shows towering mountains dominating a nighttime landscape. The mountains rise steeply with textured and detailed faces and ridges. The horizon is above the water meeting the mountains. Brushstrokes are dense and pointillistic, providing depth and texture. The color palette is monochromatic in shades of black, gray, and white. The water reflects light variations, and trees frame the right side.
